Students can read critically various fiction and non-fiction texts, including poetry. They will learn to:

The students will engage in diverse, creative writing tasks to enhance their confidence across various purposes and audiences by:

– Exploring literary techniques such as metaphor, simile, sensory details and alliteration.
– Incorporating figurative language and employing a wide range of vocabulary and SPAG.

Students will engage in dictation exercises as well as listening sheets to enhance their spelling, listening and comprehension skills.
